William Bryan Blevins, born in Tarrant County, Texas on February 13, 1898, was the ninth child of Gaines Taylor Blevins and his wife, Mary Caroline Matilda (Bird). He was married at Joshua on June 7, 1918 to Minnie Stewart, born on May 16, 1900, the daughter of Charlie Stewart and his wife, Dora (Long).
Soon after their marriage, William and Minnie Blevins moved from Keller to a farm near Vernon, Texas. Four of their five children were born there; William Daulton, Clifford Troy, Kenneth Vance and Doris.
William Bryan died in the fall of 1931 and was buried at Vernon. Early in 1932, his young widow and four children moved to Littlefield, where her fifth child, Bryan Allen was born on March 29, 1932.

They reside in San Francisco. Their children are Howard, Gail Elizabeth and Jeanine.
Doris, born June 20, 1929, was married August 26, 1947 to Howard Aden Reynolds, born December 14, 1924, the son of Darrell Glen Reynolds and his wife Ina Mae (Plaster). They reside in Forth Worth. Their children are Linda Karen, born March 5, 1949 and Douglas Aden, born July 30, 1954. Bryan Allen born March 29, 1932.
