John G. Forrester was born in Fulton County, Arkansas
on March 19, 1892, the son of Albert C. Forrester and his wife Malvina
(Blevins). He was married to Minnie
Blevins, born at Violet Hill,
Arkansas on March 25, 1890, the
fifth child of John Calvin Blevins and Nancy (Handcock) Blevins.
The Forrester’s spent their active
years as farmers in the Keller area.
They were the parents of six children; Janet Margaret, Hice Calvin
(Mutt), Hartsell Albert, Reynold Jim (R.J.), and twins, Ray Leon and Ruth, all
of whom attended school in Keller.
After retiring from farming, John
and Minnie Forrester spent their later years at their home on Katy Road. She died on November 20, 1965 and he on April
11, 1966. Both are buried in Bourland Cemetery.

Janet Margaret, born on March 10, 1915, was married
first to Millard Perry. Their only son,
Billy, died in infancy and was buried in Bourland Cemetery. Janet’s second marriage was to Carl Schellbach. Their only child is a son, Stephen.

Hartesll Albert, born on May 1, 1916, was married on
January 21, 1941, to Dorothy Ford. Their
only child is Judy Darlene, born on October 30, 1943.
3)
Hice Calvin (Mutt), born on April 3, 1918, was married
on January 11, 1941, to Maxine Ashmore, born on December 19, 1920, the daughter
of Ted A. Ashmore and his wife Mattie Ruth (Snyder). Their two sons are Lonnie , born on November
21, 1944 and Calvin, born on June 19, 1951.

Reynold Jim (R.J.) was born February 19, 1920, was
married to Leota Jackson. They were
parents of on son Jimmy Lee. R.J. died
on March 19, 1950 and was buried in Mt.
Olivet Cemetery
in Fort Worth.

Ray Leon, born on August 19, 1922, was married on
September 22, 1952, to Lavonne Abernathy, the daughter of John and Maud
Abernathy. Their children are Delaine,
Raymond and Pamela Gail.
6)
Ruth, born on August 19, 1922, was married on March 2,
1946, to
Delford
B. Tallon. Their children are Linda
Jeanne and Debbie Sue.
